Krista hails from New Albany, Indiana. She received her BS in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Samford University Birmingham, Alabama. Krista is a first year Masters student in the Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Florida. She conducted her clinical rotation in the ARC lab during her second semester and is currently serving as an MBSImP Rater for the R01 study after being one of the top students in Dr. Plowman’s Dysphagia class during the Spring of 2020. Krista has a strong interest in medical speech language pathology and aspires to work with patients in an acute care medical setting when she graduates. When she is not studying or working in the lab, Krista enjoys reading a good book, drinking coffee, and being active.
