The Dysphagia Research Society (DRS) is an organization dedicated to swallowing science. Their annual meeting for 2017 was held in Portland, Oregon and our very own Dr. Renata Guedes was accepted as a presenter. Her talk, “Cerebral Activation Before and After Glossectomy”, was a discussion of her dissertation work. We are proud of her science and glad to continue to support her achievements out of her home base in Brazil.
