Dr. Emily Plowman was an invited speaker at The University of Minnesota where she gave Neurology Grand Rounds on updates in the evaluation and management of respiratory and bulbar dysfunction in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s disease) on July 15th. During her visit to the University of Minnesota, Dr. Plowman also provided a workshop to the clinical team in the specialized ALS multi-disciplinary clinic that included U.M neurologists, ENT’s, speech-language pathologies, respiratory therapists, and nursing staff.
