May is National Stroke Awareness Month!
UF Health Shands Rehab Hospital hosted their 5th annual stroke fair for stroke survivors and their families to learn more about stroke, from prevention to rehabilitation. Swallowing Systems Core represented, educating patients and families on dysphagia and how to get involved in ongoing research efforts to improve the lives of adults who have swallowing impairments.
