Third year NSSR doctoral Student Stephanie Randall Watts passed her Doctoral Competency Examination and officially became a Doctoral Candidate this month. Watts research is focused on understanding the relationship between cough, airway protection and swallowing function. The lab celebrated her success with a surprise party during our weekly journal club where the good news was reveled to one surprised and happy doctoral student. Congratulations Steph!
