Plowman Presents at the Turkish Dysphagia Research Society Congress Meeting

[lead]Dr. Emily Plowman served as one of five invited international speakers at the 2nd Annual Turkish Dysphagia Research Society Congress in Ankara Turkey.[/lead]

Plowman gave three presentations on:

  1. Applying principles of plasticity to treatment of swallowing disorders
  2. Expiratory Muscle Strength Training and
  3. Treatment Strategies for individuals with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.

Other speakers included in Dr’s Pere Clave (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), Catriona Steele (University of Toronto), Ianessa Humbert (Hopkins University), and Reza Shaker (Medical College of Wisconsin).
